I had such a great time walking the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens with this crew. It was the perfect location to let this little guy roam and explore. He was not too interested in the lady with the camera 😉 Every now and then I have little ones who are a little more shy, or just want mom and dad. I can pretty much read it from the minute we say our ‘hello’s’! My goal is always for kiddos to warm up to me on their own terms. The younger they are, the more THEY determine the flow of the session. If we’ve got a mom clinger, we start with some mommy and me shots…if we’ve got a happy toddler, we start with individual shots! I learned early on that flexibility is key. If you are unable to go with the flow, sessions turn high stress and unenjoyable.
